Vaidas Žagūnis will replace Virginijus Doveika on the Management Board of SEB bank in Lithuania

The Supervisory Council of SEB bank in Lithuania has appointed Vaidas Žagūnis, currently Head of Retail Clients Financing Department of SEB bank, as a member of the Management Board of SEB bank. He will take his new position as member of the board after receiving permission of the authorities supervising activities of SEB bank. He will replace Virginijus Doveika, who has been appointed as Head of Retail in the SEB Baltic Division.

Starting from September 22, 39-year old V. Žagūnis will be leading the Retail Banking Division of SEB bank in Lithuania.

“Vaidas Žagūnis has been working in different managerial positions in our retail banking organization for the past eight years and has deep knowledge and long-term professional experience of this area. Having him assuming the position of the Head of Retail Banking and joining the bank’s Management Board, he will be a valuable member of our team and will contribute a lot in further strengthening the position of SEB in Lithuania’s retail banking market” says Raimondas Kvedaras, Chairman of the Management Board of SEB bank in Lithuania.

V. Žagūnis has been working at SEB for the last 15 years. Since 2015 up till now he was a Head of Retail Clients Financing Department at SEB bank, before that he has been leading the SME Department for five years and the Business Development and Sales Department for more than one year. He started working at SEB in 2001 as an assistant of client executive in retail business, worked as SME client executive, and afterwards led one of SEB branches in 2007. He was also Head of Sales for SMEs at SEB bank in 2008.

V. Žagūnis has bachelor and master’s degrees of Business Administration (Kaunas University of Technology).
