Less options to use SEB cards in Belarus

As the sanction scope is continuously increasing, there are less options to use SEB cards in Belarus. 

As the sanction scope is continuously increasing, SEB advises its customers to not rely on making settlements using SEB cards in Belarus, since they may not be finalised. Also cashing out in all ATMs in Belarus may not be possible.

Mastercard has already been blocking card usage in Belarusian physical- and e-shops where POS terminals and other payment solutions of the sanctioned banks are installed, therefore, it is not possible to settle a payment using SEB bank cards everywhere. The number of such institutions is growing. Therefore, SEB bank is also constantly reviewing the restrictions and risk management methods in place.

Since 15 of May 2022, SEB has terminated sending and receiving payments to and from Belarus in any currency, as well as sending SEB cards to Belarus.
