Regarding SEB cards in Belarus

Due to the increase in international sanctions, SEB is unable to provide the possibility to use SEB cards in shops and ATMs in Belarus. Please do not rely on SEB cards for payments or withdrawing cash from ATMs in Belarus. 

Mastercard has already blocked card usage in Belarusian physical and e-shops where POS terminals and other payment solutions of the sanctioned banks are installed, therefore, it is not possible to settle a payment using SEB bank cards everywhere. The number of such institutions is growing. Therefore, SEB bank is also constantly reviewing the restrictions and risk management methods in place. 

We kindly remind you that since 15 of May 2022, SEB has terminated sending and receiving payments to and from Belarus in any currency, as well as sending SEB cards to Belarus.
